Dear Peter,

It’s always good to hear from you, and to know that you are practicing.

It’s been almost a month since these dreams, and you have probably moved on in your life. They are certainly interesting dreams. As you say, it is surprising that you did not have an emotional reaction to the idea that you would be killed.

Over the years you have always been strongly interested in dreams, and in finding their meaning. Perhaps it is this need to make sense that is being challenged in these dreams. Time is more than the narratives we weave together from its fabric.
